This story was good on several levels. The author was careful to explain terms and ideas to the reader, occasionally awkwardly but usually in keeping with the context of the moment. At first I felt irritated by the back and forth 'he thought' 'she heard his thought' so then he blushed and followed by another thought which she listened to. Then I realized that the characters themselves were made more real to me by my own response to their thought reading. The plot worked, the situation was almost believable, and I liked the main characters. The mystery was not too obvious, the killer's crazed rationale made sense. I'll be looking for another book by Ms. Wood.Product details

I felt this book was well written. I like how it was a little bit of everything. The characters were believable instead of too much the heroine or too perfect. The plot was something you can relate to. Things like so actually happen and there are plenty of crimes out there that law enforcement struggle to solve due to lack of evidence. I hope she writes another book soon. I definitely recommend this book.
I was expecting this book to be a really good one. However I'm a little disappointed. Maybe the author wanted a long book and that's the reason for all the repetitions in this book. Also it have a few typos that are confusing..specially when it has to be with the names. As I see it, it's lacking credibility with the FBI and police investigation. It should have been a better book.
I wanted to give 4.5 stars but my review shows 4. This has lots of mystery and who done it with the right amount of romance. I always look for those qualities in a story. Great story. The secondary characters were just the right chemistry for the main couple. You will not be disappointed.
I started reading Vibrations the second I downloaded it. I couldn't put it down and found myself sneaking off to read a couple more pages every chance I could. Well written, easy read and excellent plot. I can't wait for a sequil and more stories from Lorena Wood!!! Keep them coming, please.
I found the book kept my interest, from start to finish. It was a good mixture of romance, paranormal, and murder who-done-it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was overdone on how many injuries were inflicted on the leads (shot, stabbed, cut, hit with butt of guns, etc) but they were able to keep on going ... with injuries that would kill or severly injure someone, they were able to keep hiking, fighting, etc. Other than that, it was excellent. I came back here to order another book from her and was surprised to find this was the author's first book. I do hope she continues writing this style of book!
Not a big fan of romance novels, I needed something to read one day and ended up getting drawn into this dark and spicy adventure. By the end of the first chapter I felt like I knew the characters and was immersed in their world; including the heat of Arizona, their interesting yet human psychés, and the anticipation of who-done-it. Nick and Whitney, the characters, follow the usual formula of boy meets girl, yet the author brings a quirky down to earthness to them that kept me intrigued and entertained. Great combination of romance, mystery, thriller, paranormal, and red hot love scenes! This first time author has me wanting more stories from Whitney and Nick!
